Teradata connection

This connector is currently in Beta stage.

Teradata on Data Integration together provides the strengths of Teradata's data warehousing technology with Data Integration and orchestration. This integration enables seamless loading, transformation, and analysis of data from diverse sources into Teradata's powerful analytics environment. With Data Integration capabilities, businesses can efficiently manage their data workflows and leverage Teradata's scalability and performance for data-driven decision-making and insights.

Prerequisites

You must set up your database's Host, Port, Username, and Password before connecting to Teradata.

Procedure

You can connect to Teradata using one of two methods:

  • Login Credentials
  • SSH Tunnel

Login credentials

  1. Navigate to the Data Integration Account.

  2. Whitelist our IPs.

  3. Click Connections and select + New Connection.

  4. Choose Teradata.

  5. Choose your Connection Name.

  6. Enter Host.

  7. Fill in the Port Number.

  8. Enter your Username and Password

  9. Click Test Connection to verify your connection is up to the task. If the connection succeeded, you can use this connection in Data Integration.
