Viewing audit logs

Audit logs in Data Integration provides a comprehensive record of system events and changes. You can monitor activities, ensure accountability, and maintain system integrity.

Each audit log entry shows who performed an action, what action they performed, and how the system responded. You can troubleshoot, maintain compliance, and track system usage.

Procedure

  1. Navigate to the Data Integration Account.
  2. Click Settings tab and select Audit log.
  3. Select the filters to narrow down Audit logs and locate specific events.

Use filters to narrow down Audit logs and locate specific events. You can filter by:

  • Entity Type: Specify the object type involved (For example: connection, rivers, users, or groups).
  • Event Type: Select the action type (Create, Update, or Delete).
  • User: Filter by activities performed by a particular user
  • Date Range: Filter results to a specific time frame.

Each log entry displays the following details:

  • The event date.
  • An icon representing the River type.
  • The user who performed the action.
  • The name of the River or entity.

Filtering audit logs for user management activities

Filter audit logs for user management activities to track user-related activities, such as identifying deleted users.

Procedure

  1. Navigate to the Data Integration Account.
  2. Click Settings tab and select Audit log.
  3. Set Entity Type to Users.
  4. Set Event Type to Delete.
  5. Specify the desired date range.

The results display relevant events, including the user who deleted the account and the date and time the action occurred.

  • Customers on the Enterprise plan can access this feature.
