The Employee HR Travel Assistant

In this example, we will be creating an HR Assistant bundle that lets your employee:

  • connect to the ERP system and create/access their business travel information
  • submit their travel itinerary for necessary approvals
  • schedule their trip based on AI suggestions, and do the bookings
  • submit their bills and apply for reimbursements, after the trip, completing the travel workflow.

Pre-requisites

You will need the following assets to create the HR Travel Assistant Bundle:

  1. A shareable Integration component - Employee ERP Connect - that includes one or more packaged components for connecting to the ERP system, and retrieving and managing employee data.
  2. A Flow asset - Employee Xperience - that interacts with the Employee ERP Connect application and includes a user-friendly interface to plan an itinerary, track expense, submit documents and bills for approvals, and handle the entire approval workflows.
  3. An AI Agent - Travel Buddy - for suggesting travel plans, itineraries, and pricing information.
  4. Custom Assets - Support documentation and README files.

Administrator Workflow

Step 1: Creating the Bundle

  1. Navigate to the Bundles home, and click Create a new Bundle.
  2. Provide your Bundle name - The Employee HR Travel Assistant - and description, and click Create.

Step 2: Add an Integration asset

  1. Click Add Asset.
  2. Select Integration as the Asset Type.
  3. Select the shareable Packaged Component - Employee ERP Connect, an Asset name, a description, and click Add to Bundle.

Step 3: Add a Flow asset

  1. Repeat the above steps to add a Flow asset.
  2. Select the Flow Employee Xperience, and add it to the Bundle.

Step 4: Add an AI Agent asset

  1. Repeat steps above to add the AI Agent asset Travel Buddy.
  2. Specify a name for the document attachment.

Step 5: Add a custom asset

Add support documentation, help, and README files as part of custom assets.

Step 6: Share the Bundle

In the Shared tab, you can either share the Bundle to specific account IDs or make the bundle public and share the Bundle URL.

User workflow

Pre-requisite

You require access to the bundle The Employee HR Travel Assistant, shared by your administrator via a public URL or specifically to your account.

  1. Navigate to the Bundles home and click the Shared tab.
  2. Search for the The Employee HR Travel Assistant bundle and install it.

You will be able to connect to the Employee ERP system seamlessly, plan your travel, upload your itinerary, and submit your claims.
